Swamp Thing

Can you believe it’s only been a year since Jenelle Evans was fired from Teen Mom 2?

So many things have happened since then — arrests, restraining orders, assaults.

It’s been more drama than many people see in a lifetime, but this is Jenelle we’re talking about.

And it just wouldn’t be right if her life wasn’t one awful, never-ending train wreck.

So anyway, Jenelle was fired from the show last year after her husband, David Eason, brutally killed her dog.

Not only did MTV cut ties with her, but local authorities also got involved — police opened an investigation and CPS temporarily removed the children from their care.

It took about six weeks for the kids to be returned to them and a little longer for the investigation to be dropped, but MTV stuck to their guns.

Jenelle hasn’t filmed anything with them since, and although there have been rumors that she may come back in some way, it’s looking increasingly clear that she’ll never been on Teen Mom again.

She did reportedly have a meeting with the network last fall, and shortly after that she left David and moved to Nashville — the popular theory is that David was the big reason she was fired, so she left him to try to get her job back.

But early this year she was back in North Carolina, trying to make it work with David and telling her followers that she was working on all kinds of new and exciting projects.

She’s been promising for a while now that she’s coming back to TV, whether it’s on some other network or a service like Netflix, but obviously nothing has ever come of that.

And that’s unfortunate, because like … how else is she going to get money?

Conor McGregor, Dee Devlin Engagement Photo

In his 12 years of UFC combat, Conor McGregor has developed a reputation as one of the most pugnacious pugilists the fighting world has ever seen.

But the 32-year-old brawler displayed his softer side this week when he announced his engagement to longtime partner Dee Devlin.

McGregor shared the news on Instagram, in casual but loving fashion.

“What a birthday, my future wife,” Conor captioned the photo above.

When his followers pieced together that Conor had popped the question in celebration of Dee’s birthday, the congratulatory comments started pouring in from fans, friends, and even former foes.

“Congratulations to you and Dee!!!” wrote Russian MMA fighter Artem Lobov.

“Congratulations! Many blessings,” echoed women’s former bantamweight champ Holly Holm, who’s perhaps most famous for handing Ronda Rousey her first-ever loss.

Conor and Dee’s love story is well-known to UFC fans.

They’ve been together since Conor was an impoverished up-and-comer, and he often credits Dee with his success in the ring, noting that he might have given up on himself, were it not for her love and support.

Dee grew up just four minutes away from Conor’s childhood home in the Dublin suburb of Crumlin.

They’ve been together since 2008, and together, they have two children — 3-year-old son Conor Jack Jr. and 1-year-old daughter Croia.

“Every day since I started in this game, she’s supported me,” McGregor told VIP Magazine in 2013.

“She’d drive me to the gym, and she’d listen to all my dreams. I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for her,” he added.

Conor says that while he and Dee grew up about a mile away from one another, they didn’t become acquainted until their early twenties, just as he was beginning his fighting career.

“I knew her a bit beforehand, but I think the first time I spoke to her properly was when I saw her …read more

Grey's Anatomy Season 16 Scene

At some point, Grey’s Anatomy’s fans, it’s gonna happen.

At some point, ourr lives will once again be graced with our favorite small screen doctors and all the beloved drama that has been associated with them for going on two decades now.

Due to the coronavirus, of course, we need to be patient.

But Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 WILL air in the not-so-distant future.

After prematurely wrapping up Season 16 with four planned episodes remaining, the long-running ABC series will pick up in a strange new world this fall.

As a show that takes place in present day, that world will look very much like our own.

Which means, yes, COVID-19 will play a key role.

“I spent the whole hiatus kicking it around, and I came into the writers room thinking that I had made the decision that we were not going to do it,” showrunner Krista Vernoff said on The Hollywood Reporter’s TV’s Top 5 podcast last week, referencing whether or not her program would bring the pandemic into storylines.

At first, Vernoff simply felt the world was suffering from COVID fatigue.

However, a conversation with the writers — and especially the medical experts in the room, who are referred to as “Team Medical” — eventually changed her mind.

“They really convinced me that it would be irresponsible to not.

“To be kind of the biggest medical show and ignore the biggest medical story of the century felt irresponsible to them to the medical community,” Vernoff continued.

“These doctors are traumatized.

“They are not trained or wired to hold the hands of dying people all day who are alone without their families.”

To be more specific, Giacomo Gianniotti, who portrays, Dr. Andre DeLuc, told Entertainment Tonight that the new season will pick up about a “month and a half” into the coronavirus outbreak.

“We might have some …read more
