Krystkowiak, a former Jazzman who played nine seasons in the league and later served as head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, said it’s hard to win three in a row in the NBA — let alone 10.

Krystkowiak added that the Utes have a connection with some of the players.

When Vivint Arena was undergoing renovations last year, the Jazz summer league was played at the university. Thus, there was a lot of exposure to the NBA franchise.

“They’re an easy bunch to cheer for and it’s pretty cool to be back in the playoff talk,” Krystkowiak said.
